## What is Coding Hope?

Coding Hope is a free online coding school for kids. We teach children to write real code — not copy it from AI. All classes are live, instructor-led, and completely free of charge.

## Who we are

- **Christian Jin** — Founder and instructor. Teaches all three tracks (Scratch, Python, and AI/ML). Built Coding Hope to give every kid free, hands-on access to real programming.
- **Minta Lu** — Consultant. Computational biology and AI researcher at Stanford, specializing in ML systems and LLM evaluation.

## What we teach

- **Scratch** — Visual block-based programming for absolute beginners (elementary school age).
- **Python** — Text-based programming for intermediate learners. Real syntax, real programs.
- **AI & Machine Learning** — Advanced track covering how AI works and how to build it. Not just how to use AI tools.
